Le caractère de l’Akita Américain

Les aplombs chez l’Akita Américain

When our puppies are ready to go

When they leave the kennel and go to their new homes, the puppies are groomed for the first time (bath desensitization, brushing, and blow-drying).

They will have been trained in the basics and socialized (see the section "Working with our puppies and the character of our lines").

When our puppies are ready to go

And the puppies will also be:

- Registered with the Icad (French National Animal Health Agency) and identified by microchip

- First vaccinations

- Up-to-date with their deworming procedures

- Inspected by our referring veterinarian

New owners will receive:

- Vaccination record or European passport (upon request)

- Icad identification card via microchip

- Certificate of good health issued less than one month ago by our referring veterinarian

- Sales contract and general terms and conditions of sale

- LOF registration document or, depending on the administrative deadlines for the canine, the SCC file number for registering puppies with the LOF

- A copy of the official Parent Test results

- A copy of the parents' registration in the DNA file (now mandatory)

- Copy of the certificate of commitment and knowledge of the species signed 7 days before the puppy's acquisition (new process) (purchase)

- An Advice Booklet

- A Farmina Puppy Kit

- 3 months of Free Health Insurance

- A leash and collar, as well as an impregnated plush toy to help your puppy cope better with separation

Once you get home, it's essential to take him out several times a day, especially at dawn to facilitate housetraining. To continue socialization, take him to crowded places (city centers, fairs, markets, etc.) so he can see other dogs and animals, and familiarize himself with the surrounding smells.

Don't forget booster vaccinations and regular deworming (see article on parasites and their treatment). In any case, we'll be sure to let you know, as we'll be there for you throughout your dog's life.
